Purpose
The purpose of the Scholarship Committee is to advise the ACFE Foundation Board of Directors on the awarding of scholarships.
Composition
The Committee shall be composed of no fewer than three and no more than seven members. Members of the Committee shall be selected and appointed by the ACFE Foundation Board of Directors.Current Committee Members

Specific Duties
Duties and responsibilities of the Scholarship Committee include:
- Review all eligible scholarship applications received by the ACFE Foundation.
- Provide recommendations regarding qualified scholarship candidates.
- Issue written reports to the Board of Directors, as required.
- Advise the Board of Directors on the establishment and modification of scholarship criteria and other elements of the scholarship program.
- Perform any other functions as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors.
Meetings
The Committee shall meet at least twice annually and may hold additional meetings as necessary. The ACFE Foundation Liaison shall provide reasonable notice to all Committee members regarding the date, time, location, and purpose of each meeting. Committee meetings may be conducted by conference call or other approved virtual means.Terms of Office
Members of the Committee shall serve staggered three-year terms, with one-third of the members' terms expiring each year.
