PEACE is the ethical, science-based interviewing model required in the UK and used by investigators across Canada, Europe, and Australia. Rather than confronting the interviewee, PEACE builds rapport and gets their full account first. Only then does it address inconsistencies with evidence. The result is better information and fewer false confessions.
PEACE applies well beyond law enforcement. It works in fraud examinations, workplace and HR investigations, and compliance reviews.
