Andi McNeal, CFE, CPA, is the Chief Operating Officer for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), where she oversees the ACFE’s primary business operations, including the functions responsible for developing and delivering the ACFE’s educational and training portfolio, the CFE credential and exam preparation offerings, benchmarking and thought leadership reports, and other professional publications. 

Since joining the staff of the ACFE in 2004, she has held a variety of roles, including Research Director, Vice President of Education, and Chief Training Officer. She is co-author of the ACFE’s Occupational Fraud: A Report to the Nations, a biennial report on the costs and effects of occupational fraud, as well as several other anti-fraud benchmarking reports. She is also a frequent speaker on anti-fraud and leadership topics, and she has authored numerous articles for publications such as the Journal of Accountancy, CPA Journal, Internal Auditor, and Fraud Magazine. In addition, she is an advisory member of the ACFE Board of Regents and a Research Committee member for the ACFE Research Institute, a multidisciplinary academic research center dedicated to supporting anti-fraud research.

Prior to joining the ACFE, she worked as a Certified Public Accountant in Jacksonville, Florida. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Flagler College and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of North Florida, and she is a past recipient of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Excellence Award.
