No CPE will be issued or accepted by the ACFE for completion of this course. However, when you have completed the course by reviewing all of the lessons and answering all of the review questions, you will earn a Certificate of Completion for the course that can be downloaded and printed. Save or print the certificate as soon as you complete the course and before resetting any questions.

All exam preparation products have a one-year subscription. Access will be terminated after one year from your original purchase date* or upon passing the CFE Exam, whichever comes first.

Additionally, the Prep Course software is to be used for CFE Exam preparation only. Active CFEs will not be able to access the Prep Course software. However, active CFEs receive complimentary access to the online Fraud Examiners Manual.

Yes, you can study using your mobile device. However, for full feature access we recommend using a computer.   

Yes. The Prep Course is an online, browser-based software that allows you to easily switch between devices. Please note, the Prep Course is only licensed to one user and may not be shared. 

No. While the software is recommended, exam applicants are not required to purchase the Prep Course.

No. The Prep Course and all items contained within this subscription package is licensed to only one user. It may not be shared with anyone. Other terms and conditions apply as outlined in the End User License Agreement (EULA). 

A browser-based PDF is a type of PDF that can only be accessed through a secure web browser, rather than a .PDF file being downloaded to your device. CFE Exam study materials are hosted in a Digital Rights Management (DRM) platform, which ensures the content remains secure and proprietary while also offering unique features that are normally not enabled in traditional PDFs. While printing capabilities are limited when using a DRM platform, our browser-based PDFs allow users to interact with the text in the same way they would with printed products through the ability to take notes, highlight and even draw in the files.
 
To access a browser-based PDF, simply log into your ACFE account, navigate to the My Learning & Resources section, and click on the link to the desired PDF. It will open directly in your browser, where you can use the interactive features for a more personalized study experience.

No, you do not have to remain online the entire time to view the browser-based PDFs. However, to initially access and open the PDF, you will need a stable internet connection. Once the PDF is open in your browser, you have the option to save it locally to your web browser for offline use.

Note: If you clear your browser’s cache or cookies, the PDF will be removed from your browser's history, and you will need to download it again to access it offline.
