Cybersecurity, Fintech Experts to Lead 2024 ACFE Fraud Conference Asia-Pacific

This annual conference brings together anti-fraud professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region for three days of discussion on the latest trends, technologies and solutions for detecting and preventing fraud.
AUSTIN, Texas (August 30, 2024) — Nearly 200 anti-fraud professionals from fields such as technology, law enforcement, banking and more are expected to attend the virtual 2024 ACFE Fraud Conference Asia-Pacific. The yearly event, organized by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), will take place 11–13 September 2024. This year's agenda features leading industry experts discussing topics such as fraudster personas, evidence gathering, how to use technology to fight cyber scams and more.

According to the ACFE's Occupational Fraud 2024: A Report to the Nations, corruption, billing and noncash schemes were the most common occupational fraud schemes in the cases studied from the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, organizations that did not provide fraud training lost nearly two times more than organizations that did, proving the value of events such as these for anti-fraud professionals and their colleagues.
