The inaugural event, under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Economy, will gather insightful speakers to guide anti-fraud professionals into a new era of audit, fraud prevention and information technology.
AUSTIN, Texas (November 6, 2024) — Under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Economy, the UAE Internal Auditors Association (UAE IAA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) are collaborating to host The First Audit, Anti-Fraud & I.T. Congress. This inaugural event will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Dubai on November 11–13.
The three-day event will feature experts across anti-fraud, audit and information technology industries who will share their insights and the latest advancements in these fields. More than 60 experts from the Middle East region and internationally are scheduled to present, including fraud examiners, compliance officers, auditors and more.

About UAE IAA
The UAE Internal Auditors Association (UAE IAA) was set up in July 1995, as a non-profit organisation along the lines of its parent body with the support and co-operation of the Emirates Group, the Economic Department, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Al Futtaim, Emirates Bank and Dubai Aluminium Company (DUBAL).
In 2008 it obtained an approval to become the UAE Internal Auditors Association. The Association today has secured the support of leading companies from the UAE who are involved in promoting the profession of Internal Auditing through this medium.
