ACFE’s International Fraud Awareness Week returns
The ACFE kicks off its 2022 International Fraud Awareness Week, Nov. 13-19, with high-profile organizations like Walmart, Microsoft, General Mills and ADP signed on as Fraud Week Ambassadors to host in-person and virtual educational events meant to raise awareness about fraud and promote anti-fraud training.

FBI investigates Argentine Football Association for fraud and more
The FBI is investigating the Argentine Football Association for possible fraud and money laundering in the U.S.; a woman accused of posing as a registered nurse in Texas and New Mexico faces dozens of charges in both states; a woman in Las Vegas, Nevada, is arrested and charged for bigamy and obtaining more than $100,000 under false pretenses; and Hollywood director Carl Rinsch receives a prison sentence for defrauding streaming giant Netflix out of $11 million.
